Refund Policy

When refunds apply for CTRLab services and how we handle them fairly and transparently.

CTRLab – NextGen Solutions is committed to fair and transparent dealings with every client. This Refund Policy explains when refunds apply for our services and how requests are handled. Because our engagements vary in scope, this policy is supplemented by the specific terms in your engagement agreement, proposal, or invoice, which prevail in the event of any conflict.

1. One-time website & software projects

  • Advance payments are non-refundable once work has commenced on your project. An advance confirms your slot and covers the discovery, planning, and initial design effort.
  • If you cancel before work has commenced, a refund may be issued within 7 business days of the cancellation request, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (such as domains, hosting, or licences).
  • For milestone-based projects, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basisagainst completed and accepted milestones. Work completed up to the point of cancellation is billable.

2. SaaS subscriptions

  • Monthly and annual subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period in which cancellation occurs.
  • You may cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us, and no further charges will apply after the end of the current period.
  • If a CTRLab software service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hoursdue to an issue on our side, we will issue a pro-rata service credit for the affected period on request.

3. Custom development

Custom development engagements are billed against milestones as defined in the signed statement of work. Each milestone becomes billable upon completion and acceptance as set out in the agreement. Payments already made against accepted milestones are non-refundable.

4. How to request a refund

  • Email hello@ctrlab.in with your invoice number and reason for the request.
  • We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and review it against the applicable agreement and this policy.
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.

5. Non-refundable items

The following are expressly non-refundable:

  • Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, SSL certificates, and software licences already purchased on your behalf.
  • Work that has already been delivered, including accepted milestones and accepted project deliverables.
  • Deliverables you have already accepted in writing or by putting into use.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. The version in effect at the time of your purchase or engagement applies to that transaction.
